Founded in 1999 and officially established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Chisholm Trail Antique Farm Equipment Club is dedicated to preserving, restoring, and sharing the rich agricultural heritage of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma. With approximately 60 active members, the club brings together individuals who share a passion for antique tractors, farm machinery, and the history of rural life.
Our members meet monthly at Beans & Taters, 2540 E Hwy 114, Boyd, TX 76023, where we plan events, discuss restoration projects, and continue building the strong sense of community that defines our organization. The club also maintains a dedicated clubhouse where members work together on club‑owned equipment and ongoing restoration efforts.
We proudly participate in antique tractor shows across Texas and Oklahoma, showcasing historic machinery and educating the public about the evolution of farming practices. Each year, we host our own annual tractor show at the Wise County Fairgrounds, a family‑friendly event that celebrates agricultural history and community involvement.
As part of our mission to support the next generation of agricultural leaders, the club awards scholarships to graduating high school students pursuing agriculture‑related fields of study. Our primary fundraiser is held twice a year, where we organize and administer a farm equipment consignment auction that benefits both the local farming community and our scholarship program.
For nearly three decades, the Chisholm Trail Antique Farm Equipment Club has remained committed to preserving the past, supporting the present, and investing in the future of agriculture.
